Career members

Career members are full-time employees who respond to fire and medical calls during standby shifts at the station. They work as a team along with our non-career members, at the same stations and using the same apparatus and equipment.

Career positions are generally full-time non-exempt at-will employees, on a rotating 24-hour schedule.
