PUBLIC NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE

BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE

BLACK FOREST FIRE/RESCUE PROTECTION DISTRICT

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Black Forest Fire/Rescue Protection District, of the County of El Paso, State of Colorado, will conduct a special meeting on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at 5:00 p.m.  Because the State of Colorado is currently under a state of emergency due to the Corona Virus epidemic, and because public gatherings have been prohibited, this board meeting will be conducted by email.  Only one item will be considered by the board – the extension of a Disaster Declaration for the Black Forest Fire/Rescue Protection District.  The original Disaster Declaration was declared by Chief PJ Langmaid on March 17, 2020 and must be extended by the Board of Directors no later than March 24, 2020.  The proceedings of this email meeting will be ratified at the next regular meeting of the Board of Directors, date to be determined.
