Black Forest Fire Rescue adheres to the Land Development Code and to the NFPA and International Fire Code (2015). Although the code is very specific for your safety and the safety of the public, we realize there may be occasional reason(s) to request a variance from the code for your property.  For that reason, we have developed a variance request process.

To request a variance please fill out the form below and submit via email to variancerequest@bffire.org or you may hand carry to our headquarters station located at 11445 Teachout Road Colorado Springs, Co 80908

Upon receipt of the request allow up to 5 business days for review and determination. We will send you, via email, the results of our review.
