Applicants should hold current Colorado Paramedic, National Registry Paramedic, ACLS, PALS, and professional-level CPR certifications. Additional fire, hazardous materials, wildland, and NIMS certifications may be included with the application.

Applicants must successfully complete a selection process that includes an interview and background check. BFFR may also require candidates to complete written examinations and/or paramedic skills assessments.
