PUBLIC NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
BLACK FOREST FIRE/RESCUE PROTECTION DISTRICT
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Black Forest Fire/Rescue Protection District, of the County of El Paso, State of Colorado, will conduct a special meeting on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., at the Black Forest fire station, 11445 Teachout Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80908.
This special meeting is scheduled for the purpose of convening an executive session per §24-6-402(4)(b), C.R.S. to receive legal advice specific to legal questions related to a personnel investigation.
A second executive session will be convened per §24-6-402(4)(f), C.R.S on personnel issues related to the Fire Chief position.
The special meeting will also encompass potential formal action regarding the close of a personnel investigation, and also potential formal action regarding personnel related to the close of the investigation.
An agenda will be posted on the Black Forest Fire District website (BFFIRE.org) no less than 24 hours before the meeting.
